I am Ken"s classmate from the Illinois College of Optometry. He was great guy back in Optometry school as well. Even though I have not seen him since graduation, I thought of him often. Just last week I was telling my wife about him. I remember the fun times we used to have. He was warm, engaging and quite convivial. It was an honor to have met and known such a man for our years at Optometry school.

I am so sad to hear about Dr. Schroer's passing. I had a visit with him in the past few months and just had a normal conversation. He was like that, very personable and made you feel at home during your visits. He was truly an amazing person. This is a tremendous loss. I am sending prayers up for his loved ones.

Melissa and Family-
I am so sorry to learn that Ken passed away. Truly a wonderful person! And he loved His family more than anything on this earth. I was first your neighbor and then became Ken's patient. We had some wonderful conversations out in the front yard and during my eye exams. Ken was such down to earth guy and someone you could sit and talk with for hours-like a brother! I wish I could have seen him one more

I just heard the news as Covid has kept me somewhat isolated. It was a great pleasure to coach Kenny in Track at Elder High School. He was also fantastic as my eye doctor. Ken will be missed.

It was a great surprise to hear the loss of Dr. Kenneth Schroer. He was our family's eye doctor for over a decade. He was such a wonderful doctor and his gentleness and professionalism would be greatly missed. Our condolence goes to Dr. Melissa Schroer, his wife who has been our family doctor for the past sixteen years since we moved to Cincinnati. May his memory soften the blow of your loss. Our condolence goes to Dr. Melissa, Timothy, Matthew and the entire Schroer family.
