Anne B. Torok Obituary

TOROK Anne B. passed away peacefully on January 6, 2021 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late John Torok, they were married for 50 years. Loving mother of John (Jackie) Torok DDS, Deborah (Steve) Raterman, Diane Paul, Marc (Karen) Torok, Suzanne (Mike) Karwisch and Brian (Julie) Torok MD. Cherished Grandmother of 15 children and Great Grandmother to 10. Devoted daughter of the late Edward and Olive Busch. Dear sister of Jane (and the late Jim) Wink, the late Edward and Jean Busch and the late Jeanne and Patrick Allman.

Anne was a long time resident of Mt. Airy and Colerain Township after graduating from the University of Cincinnati. She was active at Little Flower Parish for 53 years. She enjoyed playing tennis and golf, a good game of bridge, entertaining at her home in town as well as their homes in Naples and Anna Maria Island in Florida, delivering Meals-on-Wheels, volunteering with her husband at the Cincinnati Zoo and traveling. She and Johnny visited much of the United States including Alaska and Hawaii, the Far East, the British Isles, Europe, Russia, the Middle East and Africa. Mom also found time to sell real estate after her kids left the nest. Anne will be greatly missed. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. John the Baptist at a later date for the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Cincinnati Zoological and Botanical Gardens.
