Condolence & Memory Journal

Hello, I'm looking for a man named Eddie Herman who was best man at my parents' wedding. They were married in 1949 in Cincinnati. My dad's name is Paul Kneer, born in 1927, and attended Elder High School. Is this the correct Eddie Herman? I'm very sorry for your loss.

All of my memories of Uncle Eddie are happy memories!
No matter when I saw him his face would light up, he would hold my face in his hands, and say, "There's my sweet Sue". He always made me feel loved and relevant, and even though we haven't seen each other often over the years, he has always had a very special place in my heart.

What I remember most as a child, was his dedication to the Blessed Mother.
It impressed me, even at a young age, and played a part in my faith life.

He had a tremendous sense of humor and even as I sit here in this moment, his Herman hilarity puts a smile on my face.

May you rest in the arms of our loving Savior, Uncle Ed! and may your reunion with all those who have gone before you be joyous.
