I was looking for a neighbor's obituary when I came across your mother's by accident. I remember the day that she and a couple of other St. Teresa moms sat outside of my classroom pricing items for the secret Santa that was going to be held in the room across the hall from mine. When I went in the hall to see what was so funny, we all had a good laugh over this yellow plastic dachshund with its two puppies attached to its neck. We wondered who in their right mind would want to buy this! That was just the beginning of all the laughs that followed for the rest of that year and afterwards as we kept passing those dogs back and forth, secretly adding to the litter. I really enjoyed teaching you, Laura and Scott, and interacting with your mother. I'm sure you have LOTS of other fond memories to cherish. I'm so sorry for your loss.

With my sincere sympathy to your family, may your treasured memories continue to provide a measure of comfort and peace to the family. Please be strengthened from (Isaiah 61:1,2) our God "binds up the broken-hearted and comforts all who mourn".
