I will miss you terribly, you were always smiling, made our golf outings so much more when you were there.

I met Wilson playing golf. He was a great man. I am so sorry to here of his passing. I learned of this too late to attend the service. I'm sorry. I will truly miss Wilson.

Everyone who knew my grandpa adored him, and I am so lucky to be loved by him. I find comfort in knowing that my dad and my brother are so much like him, and carry on his one of a kind sense of humor! I cherish the 22 years I had with him, but I know he will be with me forever. Until we meet again, Papaw!

Sweet Daddy, you are loved by so many. The joy and laughter you have brought into our lives helps us to move forward with a smile on our face and warmth in our hearts. Your positivity deeply affects us and is the ultimate example of how to look at and interact with things around us.
A memory? So many...stories...stories of things that happened long ago, recently acquired stories, stories of your daily routines, stories that may or may not be true. We all fondly can repeat many of these stories and do so lovingly with a shared sense of humor and affection. We will have a deep, lasting void in our lives without you here. So many memories, how to choose? You have brought together family, friends, coworkers, golf buddies, bank tellers, grocery store cashiers, car wash attendants, nurses, doctors, neighbors...into a most precious bond with each other, just for having you in our lives. Thank you Daddy. We love you deeply. We profoundly miss you.

Wilson has been in my life since I was in the 4th grade! He was such a special man and "dad" to me and gpa to my children. We loved him so much and cant imagine our life without him in it. He truly has been there for me in every way. His stories always took too long (ha ha) but they always had a message behind them.
We love you dearly and We miss you already!

Wilson was so very special to both my Mom and myself. He was our Valentine. He never met my Mom, but he always remembered her birthdays, gave me flowers to give to my Mom, checking on her to be sure she was doing okay. He always gave me and the girls in the office flowers, too; such a gentleman. He has that special way that he made everyone feel so very special, as he was so very dear and special to us. He was a friend to all and touched our hearts. He is dearly missed! My dear friend, rest in peace, you will always be in our hearts.
Love you, Wilson,
aka Sunshine to Wilson
