STUKENBORG, Josef F.,87, of Florence, Ky, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed from this earth into the arms of our Lord on January 21, 2018. Joe retired from the Engineering Department of OPW, and was a long-time member of the German Kolping Society (60 years) and a parish member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. He originally came to Cincinnati, Ohio, from Lutten in Oldenburg, Germany. He is preceded in death by his mother Maria Sieveke, and father Theodor Stukenborg, his dear son, James Bernard Stukenborg, brothers Henry, Richard, August, Gunther, and Alfred. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Martha Stukenborg (Thölking), and his brother, Theo Stukenborg, and sisters, Lisa Brackland (George), and Maria Harding (Karl), and loving daughters Rita Kunk, Lisa Raterman (Thomas) and Mary Umphrey (James) and loving grandchildren, Julie Conklin (Andrew), Jeffrey Dattilo (Joanne), Teresa Cushman (Douglas), Maria Neumann (Brian), Aaron Kunk (Kelly), Andrew Kunk, Marcus Knapp, Jessica Meyer (Brian), Thomas Raterman (Brittany) Joseph Raterman (Alexis), Ashleigh Stitt (David), Andrew Umphrey (Chelsea) and great-grandchildren, Lucy, Vayla, Alex, Colin, Sadie, Peyton, Mia, Ethan, Lydia, Chloe, Josh and Charlee. Visitation Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 5876 Veteran's Way, Burlington, KY 41005, on Wednesday from 9:00AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM.
